So for this week's Throwback Thursday I have just found this car whilst browsing the interweb and it is "the first Cobra"! Built in a Santa Fe Springs garage by the legendary Carroll Shelby and friends combining the 260ci V8 Ford engine with the AC Ace chassis to create this awesome piece of motoring history. He was very good at promoting it as well by repeatedly respraying the car to make it look like he had more than one, in reality it was the only one for quite a few months.
It has since been kept in pristine condition (apart from the seats which look like everyone and their mother has sat in it a squirmed around) with Shelby and his Trust so the fact that someone will be able to buy this is unbelievable. If you have a few quid to spare you can check it out here.
