This is a total tangent to our normal content but I had to write something about this nugget of gaming history becoming miniature, portable and modernised.
We've all been supping a pint with friends when reminiscing about old games and the perils of only have 16bit graphics and two buttons to press. Nintendo have now announced a revamp of the old NES system. Its pint-sized, fitting into the palm of your hand and comes pre-loaded with 30 classic games including all 3 Super Marios, both Zeldas, Bubble Bobble, a couple of Castlevanias and more.
Connected to modern tvs with an HDMI cable it also comes with a classic controller which can be used with this but also with NES Virtual Console games on your Wii.
