This Throwback Thursday beauty is from a time before the war! Our oldest feature car yet this BMW was one of the best racers of its time. This exact car featured in a number of events ranging from country classics to a coast-to-coast rally from New York to Disneyland.
It has 81hp from a 1971cc inline six engine which was unbelievably advanced for its time. The engine has been rebuilt and is period correct for the car but is combined with a modern Volvo synchromesh gearbox. Its pretty rare too with only 464 examples ever built.
